I do love the rain tho so this gal is not complaining πŸ˜€ Saying that I have been enjoying any sun that we have had this past month and I also spent a week away with Adam in the beautiful sunny Tenerife which was so lovely and relaxing and I got a little bit of a glow to my pasty skin! My favourite Cruelty free brands

Lush cosmetics!

I have been a huge fan of Lush since my early teens when my Nan introduced their products to me as she has used them for many years. I automatically fell in love with the scents of the products, they just smell so god damn good! My favourite items to buy from their are their bubble bars, shower gels and skincare stuff such as their cleansers and scrubs! And who doesn’t love to get a bath bomb now and again either. πŸ™‚ I have also recently purchased a shampoo and conditioner from their which I am loving!

Barry M
. Barry M are a fantastic make-up brand, I usually get mine from Boots (those boots points add up!) I have an ongoing collection of nail varnishes of theirs as they always have such amazing ones to choose from, from matte to glittery ones! I haven’t used a lot of their make-up but I have heard all good things so I’ll definitely be giving some stuff a try at some point.

Soap & Glory.
Ooh I love this brand! Such sweet smells and their hand cream is the best! I always have the travel size in my handbag, I couldn’t be without it. I use their Thick & Fast mascara and their Supercat liquid eyeliner on a daily basis and they are both brilliant!

Yes to.
I found this brand among the blogging community when I was looking for a new shampoo and conditioner one day, so off I went in search of it and I found them in my local Boots store. I got the Yes To Coconut shampoo & conditioner for dry hair as my hair is bleached and dyed and really needs caring for! I really liked using both on my hair and it made it feel nice and smooth and the smell was lovely too! I will definitley be purchasing these again in the future.

NYX. Oh my love for NYX products, I just can’t put into words. Again I found out about this brand through the online world of blogging and YouTube and all the products looked so so good and they are cruelty free which is a huge bonus since I have converted now! They have recently been bring NYX counters into a certain towns Boot’s stores, unfortunately not in Bristol where I live, but Cardiff isn’t too far for my go get to. I have actually heard recently that we may be getting one early next year so I know where all my money will be going! I usually would look for reviews on YouTube or something and order mine into boots to be picked up. Their make-up is just awesome, they have such a big range from the best range of liquid matte lipsticks you can buy in store to their colourful eye shadows and linersΒ and their prices are super cheap for how good quality their products are! I really recommend any make-up lover to check out NYX if you haven’t already. πŸ˜‰

What are your favourite cruelty free brands? I would love some more recommendations! πŸ™‚

Don’t look at me.

I am a lover of fresh face masks from Lush and as they have brought out newer ones I just had to try them. This time I chose to get ‘Don’t look at me’ and to be honest the reason being is because I just loved the bright blue colour of it, haha! Oh and also it reminds me of the start of Christina Aguilera’s song Beautiful, “Don’t look at me.. everyday it’s so wonderful…” HA! Continue reading “Don’t look at me.”

I seen this tag on a few of my fellow Lushies blogs and I really had to do it! I haven’t actually been tagged by anyone but I am going to do it anyway and tag a few bloggers that I love to do it also! I have liked LUSH for such a long time, since one day back when I was a spot prone teenager my Nan used to give me gifts such as their facemasks and I was hooked! I love that this tag brings together bloggers with a love for LUSH!

So let’s go! Here are my LUSH tag answers =

Lush bubbleroon bubble bar πŸ’œ

Hello you lovely lot! I used a gorgeous smelling bubble bar today from Lush and it is pink and glittery and smells amazingly like rose, just like their Rose Jam shower gel if you have ever tried that? (ALSO AMAZING) I love the fact that this is shaped as a Macaroon with that they made the name Bubbleroon, so cute. It looks so good I want to eat it! I have used this bubble bar once before a while ago and found that I still had this one wrapped up in it’s cute little gift box as I had gotten it as a present for my birthday and totally forgotten I had it!

Inside the box the bubbleroon was wrapped in pink tissue paper which is so adorable and the box itself was so lovely, it’s bright pink with a green lid and a little gold bow tied up on the top. I used half of the bubble bar as I usual do with Lush bubble bars, as I think this is plenty for how much bubbles it makes and then you can wrap the other half up and used it again next time!

It made my bath a wonderful pink colour and lots of lovely smelling bubbles too! The rose jam scent is made up from lemon, rose geranium oil and fair trade cocoa butter and shea butter which also makes the skin feel super soft and smooth afterwards. I really really do love the smell of the Rose Jam scent and I am a big fan of all Lush products anyway as they all smell fantastic.

I really loved using this Bubbleroon and one of my favourite things to do to relax is to have a Lush bath as they always put me in a happy mood! πŸ˜€ You can get this Bubble bar from your local Lush shop or online for just Β£3.75! πŸ˜›
