Day trip to Bristol Zoo!

Hey guys! πŸ˜€

We went to the Zoo! Yay, I love going to the zoo and haven’t been there in over a year, and it was Adams first time for many years so we were really looking forward to it. We are lucky enough to live in the great place of Bristol so we went to Bristol Zoo. We started of looking at the flamingos as they are right by the entrance, I think itΒ is so crazy how they just stand on one leg for hours?! I love the lovely colour of pink they are tho, so pretty.

Next up was the lions which is one of my favourite things to see at the zoo. We got some great video footage of them having a little playfight and rolling around and they were so cute and fluffy, I would love to be able to get up close to one and be able to touch it one day.

We loved going to see the penguins, I think Adam was even more excited than me haha they were feeding them fish and giving a talk all about them as well. Next to that was the seals, they were also being fed and a man was doing tricks with them which was awesome to watch. I love the aquarium part, especially underneath when they swim all around you, I think it is just so cool being like under the water. The bugs bit isn’t my fave I’m not gonna lie, but it was interesting and the stick insects were so weird haha.

When we went to see the bats it was so awesome, where as when I have been there before they didn’t really move much but this time they were climbing and moving and opening they bat wings! Suddenly one flew right past our heads and made me jump haha, I love them! The gorillas and monkeys make me laugh, especially when they are swinging around the ropes, so funny to watch. πŸ˜›

Obviously we had to go into the gift shop at the end of our visit and we both got a key ring each, Adam got a penguin one and I got a butterfly one. We also did that thing where you pay Β£1 and put a penny in the machine, and it squashes and engraved the penny, this one said Bristol Zoo with a butterfly on which I love to keep in my keepsake box! I have shared a few of our snaps from our day out but we always take disposable cameras out with us too so I am looking forward to looking at those when they get developed! πŸ™‚

One day we’d love to go in a zoo in America or a Wild Safari in South Africa would be sooo amazing! These are definitely on my bucket list to do! πŸ˜€

We had such a fantastic day and I can’t wait until we go there again. πŸ˜€ Thank you for reading this post and I hope you liked it.

Until next time lovelies
