my Lush skincare routine. 💜

Hello everyone! 😊

Today I’m going to share with you my skincare routine and what products I use on a day to day basis. I know some people use different things day and night but I find using the same products twice a day does good things for my skin, as they say we are all different! My skin type is combination, so sometimes may be dry and sometimes oily, it does get really frustrating! I also have quite sensitive skin *also annoying* so I make sure I am always gentle when using any skin products. Most of what I use, Okay, okay, all of what I use is Lush products, because these work best with my skin and I think they are an amazing company and I am in love with everything they sell! The products last a long time and are so worth the money. So if you are a *lushie* like me you will enjoy this post.

So let’s begin…

9 to 5 Cleanser, 240g, £9.75. Every morning and evening I will use this soft cleansing milk. I pop some onto a clean cotton pad and wipe away any dirt or make-up. It makes my skin feel lovely and smooth and it doesn’t sting my eyes when removing any eye make-up.

Tea Tree Water Toner, 250g, £7.95. Next I will use this refreshing toner, I love this! It make you feel so fresh and gets rid of any traces of dirt or make-up left on your face after cleansing. I also take a mini one of these around with me on hot days or on holiday to spritz over your face when feeling hot and clammy.

Ocean Salt exfoliating scrub, 250g, £13.95. I don’t use this everyday as it may be too harsh on my skin, especially as I am very sensitive. I use this 3-4 times a week after cleansing and toning, to get rid of any dead skin and it is also used for the body as well as the face for any rough areas that need some loving. With the sea salt and coconut oil it does wonders for my skin.

Cup o’Coffee, Face mask, 250g. Ok guys so I’m not sure what the price is of this product as it is only available at Oxford Street at the moment, I think? But my friend who works for Lush gave me this to try as they have been filling them recently. I am not a huge fan of coffee or the smell, as this is quite a strong smell! But I really like this mask and it is really exfoliating too which is awesome. I use this 3-4 times a week or when I feel my skin needs a boost! If not I would usually use Mask Of Magnaminty, it’s my fave!!

Grease Lightening Spot Treatment, 45g, £6.40. I use this almost everyday, anytime of the day. I am prone to get spots a lot, so I’ll just dab on any areas that is needed with my finger and wait for it to dry. This is one of my favourite things, I couldn’t be without it!

Gorgeous facial moisturiser, 45g, £42.50. ‘Sometimes only the best will do’ says Lush. This is their ultimate face cream and I understand why, I think it is great! I know this moisturiser is pretty pricey and the only reason I have it is because I am lucky enough that my best friend works for Lush and she gets me free goodies and gets me discount. I have used almost all their moisturisers and I think every single one does an awesome job. So maybe go in and try some samples!

Thanks for reading this blog post! And I hope you enjoyed knowing how I treat my skin! Maybe it inspired you to try some of these products?

*Have a wonderful day*

Until next time lovelies, Sophie✨
